Pavillion
Welcome to the Sawston Bowls Club web site. The club started as Sawston Paper Mills in 1926 and became Sawston Bowls Club in 1967. The bowls green originally belonged to Spicers Ltd and the ground on which the pavilion stands belonged to the Village College. These were purchased by the club from the respective owners in 1998. The current pavilion was purchased from the New Addenbrookes Hospital construction site and erected in 1975. An automatic watering system was installed in 2000.
